Change in the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent of the Bank pursuant to merger
Pursuant to the scheme of merger approved by the High Court of Karnataka and the High Court of Tamil Nadu, M/s Alpha Systems (P) Limited (“Erstwhile Registrar”), having its Registered Office at No. 30, Ramana Residency 4th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore – 560 003, has merged with M/s Integrated Enterprises (India) Limited (“Current Registrar”), having its registered office at 5A, “Kences Towers”, No 1, Ramakrishna Street, North Usman Road, T. Nagar, Chennai – 600017 (“Merger”).
Consequent to the Merger, all the registrar and share transfer agent assignments of our Erstwhile Registrar stands transferred to M/s Integrated Enterprises (India) Limited, a Category I Registrar and Transfer Agent and the Bangalore Office of our Erstwhile Registrar has become a branch office of our Current Registrar. The Karnataka Bank Limited proposes, subject to receipt of the requisite approvals, market conditions and other considerations, to make a rights issue of its equity shares and has filed a draft letter of offer ("DLOO") with the Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI").
